Dear Friends of Chesapeake Blooms,

In recognition of the pandemic sweeping through our country, it is with deep sadness that we must temporarily close our flower shop in downtown Easton. Our highest priority is the health and safety of our team, customers and friends.

We love our job, we love your visits and we love the beauty and positive energy that comes with giving and receiving flowers. In less than a year, thanks to you, we have created a nurturing community of like-minded friends and it was very painful to temporarily close our doors today.

The situation is complex and changing rapidly and we must be responsive to those changes. Our hope is that this will truly be a temporary pause; but please know that when we are not in the shop, we are nurturing our gardens and farm to grow the very best flowers for you.

Social media is the best resource for the latest information on our schedule and re-opening date.

May this time of inward reflection, combined with honoring the safety of our community, yield a positive outcome for all. We hope our closure will be short-lived and that we will be spreading flower love through the community again soon.

Please stay safe and healthy!

Dede and Samantha
